Workshop Technician

Our client is a construction and industrial company in the Southern suburbs that specialises in the manufacture and maintenance of scissor lifts, boom lifts, and work platforms.
This role is a full time (minimum 38 hours per week) position responsible for the repair and service of a variety of machines such as scissor lifts, boom lifts, and elevated work platforms in line with the operating manuals in their Southern suburbs location.
**Responsibilities**:
- Perform routine repairs maintenance and service work on scissor lifts, boom lifts and other products as required.
- Conduct inspections and fault-finding activities on machines
- Dismantle and reassemble machines to a high quality standard
- Conduct steam cleaning and basic welding and spray painting as required
- Fit parts to machines by standard
**Skills and experience**:
- Relevant trade certificate essential
- Experience and knowledge of repairs in relation to elevated work platforms (EWPs)
- Knowledge of scissor lifts and boom lifts
- Understanding of customer expectations and quality principles
