Confluence Water delivers design, construction, maintenance and facilities management services in Sydney Water’s North region, which stretches from Sydney Harbour to the Hawkesbury River and includes the Hills Shire.- We have an opportunity for a **Mechanical Fitter** to join our Maintenance team and work on a variety of Sydney Water sites and assets, including wastewater sites. You will be maintaning essential infrastructure, much of it is 'vintage' and troubleshooting a diverse range of mechanical equipment including Clarifyers, Pumping Units, Sed Tanks, Valves, etc. This is a long term program of works offering job stability and the opportunity for training and career progression.**ABOUT YOU**
- Mechanical Trade Certificate
- Drivers License (to drive your Tool of Trade vehicle to sites)
- Work Safely at Heights, Enter Confined Space, Provide First Aid (all nice to have but we will send you for training if you don't).
- Able to execute work tasks with mínimal supervision.
- Enthusiasm and passion for getting things working.
- Desirable Skills- Flange Management
- Welding Experience
- Elevated Work Platform
- Tubing & Fitting (Install/Inspect)
- High Risk Work Licence - Dogging (DG) Competent in core elements required for the discipline and demonstrated experience in some site-specific tasks
- Leads reliability and performance improvements
- Trains and coaches other staff
