**Where you come in**:
In this part-time, 3 day per week (30.4 hours), fixed term contract position through to end March 2024 (with strong potential for extension), you’ll _provide counselling and case management support to male survivors of sexual violence and victims of violent crime. _Based in Brisbane, you’ll be a member of our QLD Programs team and report to our Team Leader.
- You will make an impact by: _
- Providing specialist support, psychoeducation, counselling, information, referrals and case management to individuals with complex needs and males who have experienced sexual assault and victims of crime
- Conducting thorough risk and needs assessments, within a trauma informed case management framework
- Assisting victims to develop emotional regulation strategies and providing additional holistic support
**Does this sound like you?**
- This role requires: _
- A Bachelor of Counselling, Social Work, Psychology or relevant Human Service Qualification and/or significant experience in a similar service
- Knowledge and understanding of impact of violent crime and sexual assault on individuals, and trauma-informed case management skills
- Experience working with individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Current drivers’ licence
