The Queensland Family and Child Commission (QFCC) wants all Queensland Children to be loved, safe and have their rights upheld. QFCC influences change by monitoring the performance of the child protection, youth justice and family support systems, and uses this information to raise awareness, advise Government and make recommendations for improvement.

This is a key opportunity to join the Queensland Family and Child Commission (QFCC) as the Manager, Analysis, Insights and Reporting leading performance monitoring relating to the child protection, youth justice, and family wellbeing systems. This role requires a combination of strong analytical and communication skills, as well as experience in managing teams to deliver high-impact reports that contribute to measuring and reporting on the performance of systems. You will lead a team in the collection, collation, and analysis of evidence on the system performance and use your analytical and narrative-making skills to provide insights, advice and information on the performance of relevant agencies in delivering services to Queensland's children and their families.

Overseeing the development and delivery of routine analysis products and insights, you will evaluate and monitor operations, programs and practices at a systemic level to deliver impactful and actionable insights designed to improve the safety and wellbeing of children, young people, and families.

You will be an agile, analytical and a strong communicator, able to synthesise performance data into sage, astute, and clear communication. You will be capable of looking at data and conceptualizing visual presentations that translate the key message for public consumption and be able to distil large reports into clear talking points and bring a focus to "what matters".

You will establish and maintain effective professional relationships with external agencies to enable the collection and synthesis of complex information from multiple sources, conducting surveys to gain a comprehensive understanding of the sector's needs and thereby improve the services offered by the Queensland Government. You will clearly communicate by using visual, verbal and written storytelling techniques, leading the preparation of executive correspondence and briefing notes, papers, visual content, social and digital media and printed reports.
