Injury Prevention & Rehabilitation Manager

Calvary Public Hospital Bruce, ACT

Full Time Fixed Term Position

**Salary Range**: $114,948 - $123,710 (Plus Super) Pro Rata

About the role

Degree or Diploma in Physiotherapy or Occupational Therapy, Registration or eligibility for registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), Certificate IV Rehabilitation Management or successful completion of “A Rehabilitation Delegates’ Guide To: Case Management” as a minimum

Demonstrated understanding of Work, Health & Safety Act and Regulations 2011, The Safety, Rehabilitation and Compensation Act 1988 and other legislation related to the role

Demonstrated ability to assess, develop, implement and communicate strategies for injury prevention and rehabilitation management in the workplace

Demonstrated ability to advise and support education programs on the prevention of musculoskeletal injuries including safe work practices, manual handling techniques, office injury prevention and ergonomic workplace assessments

Demonstrated leadership and supervision skills and the ability to motivate others in risk management in a multidisciplinary setting

Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality

Well-developed interpersonal, negotiation and conflict resolution skills with the ability to deliver positive outcomes, while maintaining productive relationships with stakeholders

Sound written and oral communication skills, with the capacity to communicate clearly, confidently and succinctly
