Macquarie University Hospital is currently seeking a motivated and hands-on Storeperson to join our Supply Chain Department on a Casual basis.

Key Accountabilities, not limited to are as follows
- Independently ensure service delivery from ordering a product (scanning) to its delivery to the client; this includes the search for alternatives if the desired product is on backorder or unavailable.- Maintain the day-to day accuracy of onsite stores: this involves regular stock control, reordering stock according to the agreed maximum level and issuing stock to clients.- Follow a regular schedule for scanning the storage rooms of wards and theatres.- Liaise with department heads to set bin levels in main stores and in the storage rooms of wards and theatres.- Assist the Supply Chain manager in developing and adjusting supply processes.- Assist with the loading and un-loading of trucks; ensure that couriers leave with the correctly signed paperwork.- Organize goods returns and ensure that they are recorded in the Procurement System.- Deliver goods to wards and theatres following the agreed time schedule; obtain signed confirmation from wards.- Goods-receipt incoming goods; query discrepancies between purchase order and delivery docket immediately.- Communicate with key stakeholders and solve problems independently (Hospital staff, couriers, vendor representatives).- Independently perform stock takes of the store area, participate in the stock take of other areas.- Abide by WHS regulations and participate in HICMR, infection control and departmental quality activities.
