**The Opportunity**

We are looking for a passionate and creative Media Specialist to join our Marketing and Communication team on a 12-month fixed term contract.

In this role you will be responsible for leading, inspiring, developing, challenging and coordinating Trans-Tasman Multi-Media communication.

As our Media Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the marketing and communications team to accelerate brand traction by creating engaging brand experiences.

**A day in the life**

No two days will look the same. In this diverse role, some of your day to day will look like:

- Working and supporting the Media Manager to negotiate our business needs with the media agency and media owners.
- You will test and learn to continually optimise performance and advance communications.
- Consult across Business Units in development of touchpoint strategies and integrated media plans following Nestle's Brand Building the Nestle Way (BBNW)
- Lead the sharing of best practice guidelines, relevant local insights & trends, media landscape updates and competitive analysis with the marketing teams.

**What will make you successful**

You will be forever curious and demonstrate a sound understanding for emerging media and tech trends.

Ideally you will also have the following:

- A business degree / equivalent or MBA
- Strong experience in media agency management or equivalent in FMCG
- In depth understanding of integrated media planning including digital
- Excellent communication skills, both written & verbal
- Strong sense of accountability
- Proven experience working with marketers, agencies and media and working within an In-house agency team
- Applicants must have full Australian working rights
