**POSITION OBJECTIVES**

The primary responsibility of a Senior UX Designer is to develop creative executions and designs that achieve or exceed client and agency objectives.

As a UX designer, you are responsible for enhancing customer satisfaction by improving the usability, accessibility, and pleasure associated with a digital experience. You will also have a functional understanding of coding and transfer the brand's strengths and personality seamlessly throughout the interface of a product.

In addition, manage relationships with various team members and clients, ensuring their trust in The Works outputs and opinions. You will deliver quality ideas and designs for a range of digital projects within the budget & timeframes required.

**MAIN OBJECTIVES**
- Prepare creative solutions that achieve brief objectives.
- Present or assist in the presentation of all creative and design work.
- Act as custodian for brands, ensuring work delivered responds to the original brief objectives.
- Effectively manage the sourcing of creative assets including photos, ensuring they meet design needs within budget.
- Assist in the preparation of style guides and design templates.
- Clearly articulate rationales for work, responding constructively to feedback.
- Deliver excellence in User Experience design and innovation.
- Use desktop research and findings to establish the best overall design elements to include in UX design experiences
- Build storyboards to conceptualize designs to accurately convey project plans to clients and senior management
- Design the aesthetics to be implemented within a website or digital experience
- Analyse customer responses and data to determine why certain digital experiences perform better
- Enhance the user experience by creating seamless navigation through various digital experiences
- Combine interface design concepts with digital design and establish milestones to encourage cooperation and teamwork
- Remain current on the client’s industry and digital landscape in general, sharing findings and expertise with the client and extended team.
- Build strong relationships with the Creative Partner and Project Manager, assisting them to deliver the best possible creative product within an acceptable budget and timeframe.
- Contribute to the team by being motivated and by motivating others.
- Manage your training and development, utilising online tutorials, blogs, and industry periodicals to ensure you have the appropriate skills for The Works clients & their future requirements.
- Proactively share ideas and interesting work, often from outside the agency, with creatives and other designers in the department, including print, to improve the overall output from Production.
- Participate in face-to-face meetings, including creative presentations and WIPs when the Project Management and Production team requests.
- Escalate creative issues or differences of opinion to your dept head or Gener5al Manager when they cannot be resolved through the regular approvals process.
- Contribute towards improving our internal processes by reporting back on current processes or situations as they arise.
- Experience and/or demonstrating an understanding of CX design thinking would be a plus.

**QUALIFICATIONS FOR UX DESIGNER**
- 2-3 years of demonstrated experience in creating and implementing UX design
- Proficient with visual design programs such as Adobe Photoshop, Figma, Sketch, and others
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment to create top-performing interfaces for clients
- Continued education and research into UX trends and current design strategy and technologies
- Professional written and interpersonal skills when communicating with customers and clients
- Ability to prioritize and manage several milestones and projects efficiently
- Account for challenges using problem-solving skills and seek to optimize data for the best possible outcome
- Experience creating storyboards and website mapping
