Your role at St John of God Head to Health
This position will be responsible for the leadership of the mental health programs and care delivered by caregivers. You will have both leadership and coordination responsibilities for the caregivers within the Head to Health service and will carry a clinical caseload as required by the service location.
The Position- Ensure prioritisation and delegation of duties of caregiver caseloads for self and supervised caregivers.- Promotes professional values and ethics in clinical practice.- Demonstrates consolidated, current knowledge of research, evidence based practice in service mental health programs and related clinical areas.- Provides clinical support and guidance to the Head to Health team.- Provides mental health services to client groups and circumstances of a complex nature requiring advanced practice skills e.g. complex trauma.- Demonstrates strong, current clinical knowledge and skills and applies this to contribute to supporting individuals and teams in clinical practice.- Leads and contributes to undergraduate student programs and training.
You will have demonstrated experience in a leadership role in a community based mental health setting including allocation of tasks to other clinical caregivers, supervision of a multidisciplinary team, experience delivering individual and group therapy programs across a variety of mental health presentations and in a community setting.
Successful applicants will have relevant tertiary qualifications in either Social Work, Occupational Therapy, Psychology or Nursing, and current registration with AHPRA or membership of the relevant association, current drivers licence and Working with Children check.
We can offer you- Salary: $131,722 to $136,496 plus 11.5% Superannuation- Permanent full-time, working 38 hours per week- Salary packaging up to $18,550 on a range of benefits such as mortgage, rent, meal entertainment, holiday accommodation or other everyday living expenses as well as options to salary package benefits above the FBT cap on items such as:
