**Date**:31 Oct 2024**Location**:St Leonards, NSW, AU, 2065**Company**:Ventia**Ventia **are engaged for the design, construction, financing, and facility management of the **Royal North Hospital** located in **St Leonards.** We’re hiring a full-time permanent **Handyman** to assist in general maintenance duties in the hospital.

**About the role**:

- Provide support to the site based trades as required to assist in the completion of reactive and planned maintenance.
- Relocate and dispose of hospital furnishings including chairs, tables, bed and various equipment.
- Safely operate machinery and tools and assist in non-mechanical maintenance and construction as required.
- Complete tasks within assigned time and budgetary constraints, escalating matters that will compromise these constraints at the earliest opportunity.
- Other reasonable activities as required for the role.

**About You**:

- Previous experience in a similar role is desirable and must be competent using various hand tools.
- Must be physically fit and able to conduct a variety of manual handling tasks.
- Be willing to undergo a national police check, medical and reference checks.
