Herrenknecht is a world-leading supplier of mechanized tunnelling machines and associated equipment for all round tunnelling solutions. Herrenknecht Australia, a subsidiary of the global organisation, operates with a small, dedicated team offering site support to active local tunnelling projects before, during and after TBM excavation. In-house engineering capabilities allow us to work with tunnelling contractors to find solutions to unique and challenging problems related to tunnel construction.

We are currently seeking a **Business** **Student **to join our team in Eagle Farm.

**THE ROLE**

This role reports to the Commercial Manager. The purpose of the Business Student position is to support the sales and procurement processes, primarily of our spare parts business, for our current TBM projects in Australia and NZ, as well as assistance with administrative and logistics tasks. We are seeking an immediate commencement with part time hours on a casual basis with flexibility on the days.

Your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

- Prepare sales quotations and purchase orders
- Coordinate with our headquarters in Germany, local suppliers, and our engineers on jobsite
- Support and coordinate logistics of incoming and outgoing spare parts

**Key skills you will require for this position include**:

- Ideally seeking a Business Student with some relevant work experience
- Exciting entry level Business Student opportunity, with possibility for further opportunities in various roles
- Operate in a hands-on manner
- Quick learner with the ability to multi-task and adapt to changing priorities
- Ability to work autonomously and as a supportive team player
- Demonstrate MS Office experience, including Word and Excel
- Demonstrate self-initiative and ability to be responsible without much support

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual
Part-time hours: 24 per week

**Salary**: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
