Spectrum

Spectrum is a personality disorder and complex trauma service funded by the Department of Health and provided by Eastern Health. Spectrum provides direct clinical care for people with complex and/or severe personality disorder and complex trauma as well as secondary consultations and second opinions for clinicians who support the needs of clients experiencing BPD and complex trauma. Spectrum also offers a range of development opportunities including training and carer support workshops and is actively involved in research.

The role

This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic organisation to support a range of initiatives within Spectrum. The scope of work includes providing a courteous and professional receptionist service to all enquiries and visitors to Spectrum and the provision of general administrative services. Working in a multi-disciplinary environment with the expectation that all administrative staff be multi-skilled, the expectation is that this role is performed across clinical and corporate settings as outlined in the position description.

Key Selection Criteria

Experience working in a reception/administrative environment

Demonstrated experience in a quality focussed client service area

Demonstrated experience working in a multi-disciplinary environment

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to relate to people at all levels

Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise multiple projects to meet deadlines

Demonstrated ability to work with limited supervision

Intermediate computer skills with competence in the use of Microsoft programs

Commitment to working as part of a team

Demonstrated initiative and ability to follow up

Commitment to a proactive approach of improving client service delivery
