**The Company**

This business is a global leader in the food manufacturing industry with multiple sites around Australia and a large customer base in a flux of growth. As a result they are seeking an experienced Demand Planner for at their national head office in Melbourne's Eastern suburbs

**The Role**

Reporting to the Demand Manager your responsibilities will include;
- Maintain best-in-class forecasting accuracy across the region and deliver consistent fill rate levels to all customers
- Monitor forecasts for new products and promotions and identify trends to assist in improving the S&OP process
- Increase collaboration across sales and marketing departments to improve visibility and create solutions across demand and supply
- Utilise statistical data to justify forecast demand
- Lead S&OP meetings across the sites

**Your Background**

In order to be successful in this role you will ideally be;
- At least 3-5 years experience in a demand planning
- Tertiary educated in a relevant area such as Business or Supply Chain & Logistics
- Have experience working in a high-SKU environment supplying into major retailers
- End to end Supply Chain experience within a food environment is highly desirable
- Exposure to demand planning systems with the ability to interpret data and understand trends
- A strong personality who is not afraid to show initiative and drive improvements across business units
