Join a dynamic team that helps UOW researchers achieve success in grant funding to undertake important research.

An exciting opportunity exists to join the RSO as a Major Bid Writer, responsible for the development of high-quality proposals to enhance institutional performance in attracting major funding, both domestic and international.

**Responsibilities include**:

- Developing and managing major funding proposals, including strategic advice to the bid team, writing and strategic review of proposals.
- Building strategic working relationships with faculties to promote funding opportunities and facilitate submission of major bids from a broad range of funding sources.
- Analysing and reporting on funding data and trends to track performance and guide strategy.

**About you**:
To be successful in this role you will need a relevant degree and experience in a similar role; outstanding experience in writing, structuring and submitting complex major bids; strong editorial skills with attention to detail; excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with stakeholders to provide strategic and constructive advice.
