**Job Summary**

The Pallet Management is being responsible for overseeing and optimizing the utilization of pallets within the supply chain. This involves coordinating pallet movements, managing inventory, and ensuring compliance within guidelines. You will work closely with internal teams, suppliers, and logistics partners to streamline pallet processes and minimize costs.

The Inventory management component will be managing and controlling the company's inventory to ensure efficient and accurate stock levels. This involves monitoring stock movements, conducting regular counts, and implementing strategies to optimize inventory processes.

The **Inventory Controller & Pallet Management Specialist** role will also include the management of Commonwealth Handling Equipment Pool (CHEP) pallets and inventory.

**Role Responsibilities**:
**Inventory Control**
- ** Inventory Monitoring**:

- Regularly monitor inventory levels to ensure they meet demand.
- Identify SLOBs and Blocked stock and take appropriate actions.
- ** Auditing and Accuracy**:

- Conduct regular physical cycle counts to reconcile with system records.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies between physical counts and system records with Finance.
- Implement measures to improve inventory accuracy and minimize shrinkage.
- Ensure batch details and Expired dates are accurate.
- Implement measures to improve the Eski flow of materials.
- ** Reporting**:

- Generate and analyse inventory reports to provide insights into stock levels, trends, and potential issues.
- Communicate Expired and Blocked Stock issues to stakeholders.
- ** Process Improvement**:

- Continuously assess and improve inventory management processes.
- Set up RF scanning in all areas including pull / reservation lists.
- Train staff in Inventory related SAP codes.
- ** Collaboration**:

- Work closely with other departments such as logistics, planning, and production to ensure a seamless flow of goods.
- Communicate effectively with team members and other stakeholders to address inventory-related issues.

**Pallet Management**
- ** Pallet Inventory Management**:

- Maintain accurate records of pallet inventory.
- Track pallet movements across the supply chain.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance within guidelines.
- ** Coordination with Internal Teams**:

- Collaborate with production, warehousing, and logistics teams to optimize pallet usage.
- Communicate effectively to ensure all departments understand and adhere to CHEP standards.
- ** Relationship Management**:

- Build and maintain relationships with supplier representatives.
- Complete training relevant supplier guideline training.
- ** Process Improvement**:

- Identify opportunities for process improvement to enhance pallet management efficiency.
- Implement Unilever’s own transport.
- Implement best practices to minimize pallet-related costs and waste.
- ** Training and Education**:

- Provide training to internal teams on pallet management procedures.
- Stay informed about updates and changes to pallet guidelines and communicate them to relevant stakeholders.
- ** Reporting and Analysis**:

- Generate regular reports on pallet utilization, costs, and compliance.
- Analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
