BGC Construction delivers large scale commercial construction projects across a diverse range of industries including aged care facilities, retail shopping centres and high-rise luxury apartments. We have been at the helm of many of the most iconic award-winning projects in Western Australia, from Perth Arena, Eden West Apartments to the National Anzac Centre and the Oncology Health Campus Extension in Albany.

**The Opportunity**
We are currently seeking ahighly motivated and experienced HSE Advisors to join our team.
**The role is located in the Perth metro area. **This is a casual positions with 2-3 days of work available per week, with the potential for additional hours depending on project requirements.

As a HSE Advisor, you will be responsible for ensuring that our organization complies with all relevant health, safety, and environmental legislation, as well as company policies and procedures. You will also work collaboratively with project teams to develop and implement strategies to minimize risks and promote a culture of safety across the organization.

**Your responsibilities will include, although are not limited to**:

- Provide professional advice and service to all areas of operation in the field of HSEQ, while delivering training and instruction to the business on HSEQ matters
- Provide internal safety observations, audits and workplace inspections
- Facilitate and assist with hazard/risk identification
- Act as the Interface and communicate with client personnel
- Participate in Safety, Health and Environment compliance audits
- Prescribe and implement preventive and corrective actions

**About you**
- Valid Construction Safety Awareness card and Driver’s Licence
- Minimum 2 years in the construction industry or safety related background
- The ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
- A high level of computer literacy
