We have an exciting opportunity for a Social Media and Marketing Assistant to join our team at Interia. This entry level Marketing role is a great opportunity for anyone with a passion for Social Media and Marketing to break into the industry and gain experience across all areas.
You will be responsible for capturing high quality digital media, including photos and videos, to be used across all of our marketing material. This person will also collaborate with the marketing team in the development of brand, sales and marketing strategies and provide administrative assistance, where required.

Direct Office Furniture is a factory direct online store bringing the biggest range and best value to the Australian Office Furniture market.
Cubispec Washroom Solutions provides toilet and shower cubicles, assisting customers from the design phase through to completion.
We all work as a team to meet our customer’s needs; this means that this role will assist marketing and social media management across the three brands. The role will involve a lot of communication and collaboration with management and other team members to ensure our marketing strategies align with our business values and objectives.
This role is suitable for someone with a passion for Social Media and Marketing, no experience is required however basic skills in photography, videography and editing software is highly desirable. We are looking for someone motivated, proactive, organised and with excellent communication and networking skills.
**Responsibilities**
- Participate in the development of Brand, Sales, and Marketing Strategy.
- Collaborate with the Marketing Director and Marketing Coordinator to create engaging, meaningful content that aligns with the Brand, Sales, and Marketing strategy.
- Help gather and analyse data to reach insights about brands, competitors, and market trends.
- Use professional video and image editing software, including Adobe Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Light Room, Indesign, Canva, etc.
- Creating and retouching product and project photos.
- Accessing supplier websites to obtain hi-resolution images.
- Resize, crop, optimise, name and upload product images.
- Collaboration with the Marketing team to create high-quality, visually appealing, and shareable multimedia content, including images and videos.
- Work to develop relationships and rapport internal and external stakeholders and liaise to arrange appropriate times and access to capture digital content.
- Assist the Marketing team with the planning and coordination of company events.
- Keep up to date with the latest in digital advertising trends so you can help our team and client partners make informed decisions on their advertising strategies.
- Working to achieve personal and team KPI’s and targets.
- Confidence to manage your own daily workflow and meet the outline objectives.
- Manage and maintain photography and videography equipment, ensuring it is in excellent working condition.
- Provide general administrative support to the Marketing team, where required.
**Qualifications and Experience**
**Essential**
- Valid driver’s licence.
- Interest in and passion for digital marketing, social media, content creation, etc.
- Proficient computer skills.
**Desirable**
- Basic experience using editing software, including, Adobe Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Light Room, Indesign, Canva, etc.
- Basic photography and videography skills - understanding of video and image production techniques, including shooting, lighting, sound recording and editing.
- Basic marketing and content creation knowledge.
- Qualification or experience in a similar area/role.
