- **Assistant in Nursing (AIN) position**:

**The Department**:
Ward 7 West is a 36 bed acute medical ward caring for patients admitted under the care of the Infectious Diseases and Gastroenterology units.
The 7 West team focuses on a team nursing model of care to deliver patient centred care.
**The Role**:
The role of the AIN is to provide support to the nursing team in the delivery of safe and quality patient centred care. The AIN works under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse at all times. A clear list of AIN duties and excluded duties can be found in the attached position description.
