**We are looking for a full time, permanent position as our internal staff trainer to be based at any DES office from Sunshine Coast to Cairns, QLD**

As the Staff Trainer for our DES contracts in Nth Qld, you will be responsible for implementing and delivering staff training across our North Queensland area. You will be focusing on enhancing performance and ensuring compliance is met. Your goal is to develop our staff by sharing the knowledge and tools they need to succeed in their role.

The training and support you deliver to staff will be remote and face to face. You will deliver motivational and contractual support to help ensure our staff are equipped with knowledge and know-how to motivate participants, build effective relationships with employers and ultimately achieve sustainable employment outcomes.

A focus of this role is to coach new Employment Consultants as they join the APM team but you will also deliver ongoing training to long term staff on any new programs, systems and processes.

**What we need from you**:

- Minimum of 12 months working in the DES contract
- Ability to multitask on a daily basis
- The ability to demonstrate initiative and work autonomously
- Have the capacity to travel across the North Queensland area (week on week off travel)
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
- Some previous experience coaching, training and/or guiding others
- Demonstrated ability to use Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, ESSWeb & Microsoft Teams

Our staff trainers work toward bringing out the best in staff by coaching and mentoring. This is an exciting role where you can directly influence performance, knowledge, effectiveness and engagement of our own internal staff. This role works closely with the management team to assist in weekly refresher training, competency training and assessment, one site and group training

You will be supported by an energetic and positive L&D team, and your expertise and creativity will also find an outlet in the delivery of national webinar training and development of innovative training materials.
