**About the role**

We have a new opportunity within the Business Centres & Street Cleaning Team for an Operational Worker - Mechanical Sweeper Operator to operate the mechanical road suction sweeper. You will be responsible for the delivery of cleaning and clean up collection services of streets and footpaths within our Local Government Area.

Reporting to the Street Cleaning Team Leader, this role is based at the Alexandria Integrated Facility (AIF) commencing at 5:00am and finishing at 1:15pm. However, you may be required to work afternoon shifts as needed from time to time.

**About you**

**Essential Criteria**
- HR licence
- Experience driving a mechanical suction machine
- Experience with left hand drive vehicle
- Ability to work in a flexible manner
- Developed communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven performance and ability to achieve objectives and successfully meet project targets
- Demonstrated commitment to the principles of a team based work culture
- OHS construction induction (White Card)
- Ability to perform labouring duties

**Desirable Criteria**
- Traffic Control Licence (Blue Ticket)
