Bannister In Home Care - Schedule Assistant (Sydney)

We are looking for a permanent full time Scheduler to join our friendly Surry Hills office. Schedulers play an important part in helping our older clients receive the care and support services they need.

Schedulers are responsible for coordinating the delivery of services using a team of qualified Support Workers. You will be the point of contact for Support Workers, Care Coordinators and Clients, ensuring our aged care/NDIS customers get the right care at the right time.

**Duties and responsibilities include**:

- Developing and managing customer service schedules, including service planning, confirmation and short notice placements and cancellations
- Preparing and transmitting schedules for customer services to Home Care Workers
- Arranging replacement staff to cover planned or unplanned absences and shift changes
- Monitoring the implementation of individualised plans for customers
- Verifying allocation of Home Care Workers against customer schedules to ensure timesheet data is processed in a timely manner
- Maintaining and updating data in company information systems
- Meeting the specified standards for the delivery of quality in-home care and support services

**About you**:

- Preferably experience in a scheduling role or reservations. If not, experience in the Aged Care Industry is definitely an advantage
- Have an understanding of the Aged Care sector
- Ability to think in a fast paced environment
- Strong English speaking and writing skills
- Strong interpersonal, communications and negotiations skills
- Ability to build and develop strong relationships.
- Effective decision making skills
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy
- Effective organisational and planning skills
- Fast computer skills including Microsoft Office

**What you will need**:

- Criminal Record Check
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
