A Pre-Plan Funeral Consultant assists their clients in pre-planning their funeral needs ahead of time, helping them achieve both peace of mind, and the potential for significant savings.

**The Pre-Need Funeral Consultant will be responsible for**:

- Meeting and building strong relationships with clients, providing advice and guidance on the range of options available to pre-plan their funeral.
- Proactively source new client leads by building relationships with suitable partner businesses and the broader community.
- Prepare quotations and pre-plan funeral contracts for your clients.
- Meet monthly activity and sales targets, working as part of a successful team.
- Accurately hand over signed contracts to our fund office team for processing.
- Remain responsible for administrative elements of the Pre-Plan Funeral Consultant role, including managing lead tracking, updating pre-plan arrangement details on our internal systems, and finalising contracts/correspondence with clients.
- Represent the Guardian Plan brand at networking and public relations events as required.

**Skills, experience and characteristic required for this role include**:

- Strong customer service skills with a “can do” attitude combine with the ability to be empathetic and compassionate through difficult and emotional conversations.
- Effective communicator, particularly when discussing highly emotive topics such as death.
- Proven sales and business development experience.
- Demonstrated networking skills with the ability to proactively identify new opportunities.
- Competent in the use of computers, MS Office and customer management systems.
- Strong administrative/contract skills with a focus on process and detail.
- Unrestricted driver’s license.
- You have a passion to make a difference in your community.
