**About the Role**:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Maintenance Engineering Technician to join our team at Lithgow

As Ferrero's Maintenance Engineering Technician, you will assure the maintenance of the company facilities and utilities through the monitoring and adjustment of maintenance policies, upon performance analysis on the maintenance system and the analysis of internal and external best practices to identify opportunities for improvement to be included in budget.

**Main Responsibilities**:
You will cooperate with the Maintenance Manager in approving the budget proposal through analysis on actual data, and maintenance system performance.

You will define the guidelines for maintenance policies, propose them to Maintenance Manager and to the Production Manager, to evaluate policies’ applicability and expected benefits.

You will perform critical analysis and the periodical review of operative manuals for the machineries, breakdown analysis and automation.

You will collect, elaborate and wide spreads within the company, internal and external, maintenance practices, in order to improve interventions’ execution

**Who we are looking for**:
You will have a demonstrated level of experience & understanding of fundamental engineering principles, particularly within the FMCG Manufacturing & Automation sector and will have recognised degree in a suitable engineering discipline. You will be self-motivated who strives to improve both the company and your own performance.

You are a demonstrated self-starter, who can work in both a team environment or independently. You will be a strong & concise communicator with good interpersonal skills with the ability to influence at all levels

A good understanding of electrical & electronic control systems & logic (PLC’s, HMI’s, VSD’s, Robotics etc) would be considered advantageous
