What does the job look like?

Based in Kemps Creek the AM Load Allocator is responsible for load planning, scheduling, allocating loads to drivers and maximising equipment utilisation for metropolitan, intra and interstate geographic territories. This role is also responsible for managing the expectations of both the business and the customer. It will be Monday-Friday 8am starts with fortnightly Saturdays 5am commencement to Key areas:

- Ensure TMS systems are maintained, including reviewing and updating TMS data, geocoding, reviewing driver run sheets and raising questions to our customers regarding potential window changes
- Effectively coordinate all day-to-day routing, scheduling and allocating orders for company and subcontractor fleet
- Work with management to ensure all new employees are inducted and trained before commencement as per BevChain guidelines
- Support the implementation of the BevChain safety standards and through consultation and communication with site personnel
- Ensure site is compliant with national heavy vehicle legislation (NHVL) and meets transport chain of responsibility

- Previous experience in a similar role within a transport operations environment
- A strong understanding of fatigue management, load restraint and mass management
- Strong work ethic with a passion for industry and commitment to continuous improvement
- Experience using Microsoft and TMS/WMS systems is desired
- Ability to adapt to changing demands and pressures
- Flexible to work Saturdays as required
