**Position Title**

Kitchen Sandwich / Bowl Maker

**Reports to**

Store Manager

**Position Overview**

The Kitchen Sandwich / Bowl Maker are responsible to ensure that what we serve each and every customer a product that is cooked and assembled to a high standard being tasty, healthy and high quality fast food with fresh REAL ingredients.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Demonstrate integrity and honesty while interacting with team members, and managers.
- Maintain high standards of customer service during high volume, fast-paced operations.
- Prepare all food orders within a 2-3 minute time frame.
- Assist Head Cook in the mornings to prepare the kitchen and refill all ingredients

**Start of Assembly**
- Ensure sufficient freshly baked bread throughout the entire day
- Ensure initial order is received from the sticker printer and communicated to the kitchen team
- Ensure appropriate bread roll or bowl on a production tray along with the paper wrap for sandwiches or bowl for the bowls and the sticker with the individual order
- Ensure all the condiments, vegetables and any other amendments that have been requested on the bread or in the bowl

**Finishing of Assembly**
- Ensure that there is adequate hot food in the bain marie to suit the expected orders
- Weighing and adding the final protein onto the sandwich or into the bowl in accordance with the requirements for each sandwich or bowl,
- The final dressing/finishing of any condiments
- Wrapping the sandwiches or placing the lid on the bowl along with placing the sticker on the sandwich or bowl
- Sending it through the pass-through ready for collection
- Updating the Kitchen Management System

**KPIs**
- Store achieves overall sales revenue target for calendar year
- Store achieves and maintains google rating over 4 stars
- 85% minimum achievement on Store Visit reports
- Store Mystery Shop results achievement to company benchmark
- Store maintains $18 average spend per head

**Experience/ Qualifications**

**Essential**
- Excellent knowledge of customer service and food operations.
- 1-2 years’ experience working in a kitchen role in fast food/restaurant or café.
- Possess strong organisational and decision-making skills.
- A team player, with the ability to multi-task and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Able to perform high-quality work while unsupervised.
- Ability to prioritise and work well under pressure.
- Knowledge and competency in WHS and food hygiene kitchen operations.
- Able to perform high-quality work and follow all preparation, cooking and cleaning procedures with accuracy.

**Salary**: $20.33 - $30.64 per hour
