**About the role**

We have an opportunity for a **Groom** to be part of our Mounted Police team. The purpose of the role is to support the Mounted Police Command in the daily care of horses and maintenance of the stable complex. The position also supports the Mounted Police Officers in preparing for Ceremonial, Public Order and High Visibility Patrols.

Applicants **must** hold a current driver’s licence.

Applicants **must** hold a forklift licence **or** be willing to obtain within 6 months.

This recruitment may be used to create a Talent Pool for similar future roles (ongoing or temporary) that may arise over the next 18 months.
