**The Role**

This opportunity will be based in our Brooklyn yard, reporting to the State Engineer. You will be primarily responsible for the maintenance of our plant and equipment, in order to maximise efficiency and output.

**Rotating Shift**

Day shift 7am - 3pm Mon - Fri

Afternoon Shift 3 - 11pm Mon - Thur **Fridays 1pm to 9pm**

**Responsibilities will include**:

- Participate in preventative and predictive maintenance programs for all plant and equipment
- Work in accordance with a daily plan for routine maintenance and complete relevant maintenance records
- Participate in various continuous improvement and other programs as required
- Ensure all work is completed in accordance with our site safety, environmental and quality procedures

**To be successful, you will have**:

- Trade qualifications as a Fitter, experience in Fitting with Conveyors, Motors, Gearboxes, Welding knowledge an added advantage
- Ability & willingness to pass a medical in line with the requirements of the role
- Experience in a similar position within a similar industry
- Good communication skills and the ability to work autonomously or in a team environment
- Display flexibility with operations and maintenance

It will be an added advantage if you have a forklift ticket.
