The Opportunity
In partnership with the ADF and the Commonwealth, Boeing Defence Australia (BDA) provides aircraft maintenance and upgrades, component maintenance solutions, technical support, mission-critical infrastructure support and training on some of the most capable surveillance, command, control, and combat platforms in the world.
BDA is looking for a Technical Assessor (Avionics) to support the most modern and capable configuration of the AH-64 Apache attack helicopter. The role is to be based in Enoggera, Brisbane with the Army customer in an integrated Attack Helicopter System Program Office (AHSPO).
As a Technical Assessor (Avionics) within BDA, you will
- Act as a conduit between engineering, operational maintenance and supply chain.
- Communicate and works to articulate and resolve design and operational issues and concerns with Engineers, maintenance and supply chain personnel.
- Assist multi-disciplinary engineering and ground support personnel with fault finding, troubleshooting and solution development.
- Develop in-service correspondence for continued safe operation of Apache equipment.
- Assist in the identification of aircraft parts, part numbers, and supports the codification process new, foreign adoption, new foreign or amendment).
- Assist in identification of alternate or substitute part numbers and updates the NSN codification information.
- Assist the supply chain procurement process.
- Develop and analyses reports from both the maintenance management and supply chain management tools used at the operational unit.
- Required AASB Engineering Authority: Logistics Engineer.

About you

**To be successful in this role you will have**:

- 3 years+ technical experience in avionics maintenance within a military maintenance organisation at supervisory level.
- Previous experience in Aircraft Publication management.
- Meet Defence security and ITAR requirements
