Seeking an experienced HR professional with sound administration skills to join this independent K-12 school, located in Essendon, an inner suburb of Melbourne, in a fulltime permanent position of **HR Coordinator**. The role will support the Director of HR and Strategic Operations, in all HR processes including recruitment, onboarding, and general HR administration. This role is a generalist role and be suited to a HR professional seeking a broad HR role within a school setting.

**Ideally, you will bring**:

- Formal qualifications in Human Resources (highly desirable)
- At least 2 years’ experience in a similar role (previous school experience desirable)
- Advanced skills in administration and computer literacy (Microsoft Office - Word, excel and Powerpoint and GoogleDocs are essential)
- Superb attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team
- Adaptabilty and the abikity to work in a high volume role
- Effective time management strategies and the ability to prioritise a pressured workload
- Strong interpersonal skills and confidence to communicate with a wide variety of teams and stakeholders in the organisation
- Customer focus skills and an ability to for process improvement to drive efficiencies
- Organisation and coordination skills for complex processes
- A current Working with Children's Check (Employment) or the willingness to obtain
- An understanding of child safe standards
- Current Level 2 First Aid and CPR Certificate - with a commitment to on-going training
- Current anaphylaxis management qualification
- Current asthma management qualification
