Are you a Registered Nurse with excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, looking to step into more of a leadership role? Northpark Private Hospital is looking for experienced Registered Nurses to work as Associate Nurse Unit Managers for three key positions within our perioperative department:

- **_ANUM - Short Stay Unit_**:

- **_ANUM - Scrub Scout - Plastic/ENT_**:

- **_ANUM - Scrub Scout - Gynae/Urology_**

Work has commenced on the major expansion of both the Northpark and LaTrobe Private sites to ensure we meet the growing demand for quality health care across Melbourne’s Northwest.
- Expansion of our established Mental health wards by 22 beds including a 10 bed older persons unit
- Growth of support areas for Mental health expansion ie group spaces, meeting rooms, interview spaces, a gymnasium and patient support areas

**Position Responsibilities**:

- Facilitate a learning culture to ensure continuous improvement
- Maintain professional and constructive working relationships with our VMO partners, using a customer service mindset, to enable high quality patient outcomes.
- Provide clinical operational direction for the unit to ensure efficient and effective management by coordinating the delivery of nursing care that is evidence based.
- Be accountable and responsible for the effective daily management of human, financial and material resources
- Coordinate and drive clinical audits and quality improvement initiatives
- Undertaking direct patient care, as required

**Selection Criteria**:

- At least 3 years experience in relevant nursing speciality
- Post Graduate Degree in relevant specialty area
- Current Registration with AHPRA & WWCC
- Sound clinical knowledge
- Compliance with ACQSHC National standards
- Exemplary interpersonal and communication skills
- Positive role modelling behaviours
- Excellent customer service focus, time management and prioritisation
- People management experience (desirable)

**If you are successful, you will receive a salary based on your years of relevant nursing experience against the current nursing Enterprise Agreement the "Healthscope - Victoria - Nurses and Midwives Agreement **20**21 - 2025**" (salaries range between $51.77 and $55.06 per hour).**
