Shopfitting Supervisor Position - Brisbane Southside

**Your new company**
Hays have partnered with a family run local shopfitting and fitout company based on the South Side of Brisbane. This company has been around for over 30 years providing a quality product to their clients. They take a team approach in how they operate, driving collaboration between teams to achieve strong results. This company is now looking for an experienced Carpenter or Shopfitter looking to take the next step into a Supervisor position.

**Your new role**
As the Supervisor you will be reporting to the Project Manager and be the face of the business on site. You will:

- Assist and provide input on construction program and monitor progress to assure timely project delivery
- You will be asked to coordinate subcontractors, review subcontract work method statements, implement safety procedures, manage supplier deliveries and subcontractors on site
- Prepare defects lists and manage their close out.
- Have a hands-on approach with the site, this role will involve time on the tools
- This role will involve short periods of travel as there are projects throughout the Eastern Seaboard

**What you'll need to succeed**
To be considered for this role you must have:

- QBCC Supervisors License (preferred but not necessary)
- Exposure to projects in the sub $1m range
- Trade background or relevant tertiary qualifications
- Proven track record of driving jobs from start to finish
- Experience in a fast-paced environment and working on jobs with quick turnarounds will be highly regarded
