**About the Role**
This is a Fixed Term, Part Time position to cover a fellowship position until late December 2024 at 30.4 hours per fortnight (2 days a week) within the Children’s Cancer Centre
You will be responsible for the provision of neuropsychological services to children and adolescents diagnosed with cancer. This involves appropriate assessment and management of these patients, including some assessment of those who are enrolled on clinical trials.
**What you’ll achieve**:
- Provision of specialist neuropsychological assessment, reports, and management of children and adolescents within the Children’s Cancer Centre.
- Optimal patient care and management through effective feedback and consultation to referrers, parents, patients, schools, etc.
- Strong participation within multidisciplinary teams including the Psycho-oncology and neuro-oncology teams.
- Participation in activities within the RCH Psychology Service including supervision and professional development.
Classification for this position will range from Grade 2, Year 1 - Grade 2, Year 4. (Base salary $90,812 - $102,757 per annum, plus superannuation).
**Your skills and experience**:
- Postgraduate training in Clinical Neuropsychology
- Current registration to practice as a Psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia (PBA) and Australian Health Practitioner Registration Authority (AHPRA)
- Ability to function independently as a Clinical Neuropsychologist and to provide a range of Clinical Neuropsychology services
- Experience in the practise of paediatric clinical neuropsychology

**About the Psycho-Oncology team in the Children’s Cancer Centre**
This role sits within the Psycho-oncology Team in the Children’s Cancer Centre within the Division of Medicine. The Psycho-Oncology team is a multidisciplinary team consisting of Neuropsychologists, Mental Health Clinicians, Art Therapists, and Comfort First Clinicians. Our team is committed to working closely with families, carers, and other health care professionals to ensure the best outcomes for our patients.
