**About the role**:
A Full-Time role supporting residents living at our facilities in Victoria, situated at Uniting AgeWell Manor Lakes. Utilising your diverse trade skillset, you will work closely with Uniting AgeWell's different departments to deliver effective and timely maintenance services.
- Contribute to resident’s quality of life and well being through the provision of quality maintenance services
- Monitor and maintain internal and external living environments for residents including furniture, equipment, lighting, temperature, noise, safety and security
- Ensure that resident’s privacy and dignity are respected during maintenance procedures involving their personal space or belongings
- Permanent roster Monday to Friday, 7.30am or 8am start.
- Based in Manor Lakes with some requirement to attend other Uniting AgeWell sites and services

- Trade qualifications or some experience with Handyman work
- Strong management and communication skills
- Capability and an understanding of and ability to support compliance with Aged Care Standards, OH & S, and other legislative requirements related to role and responsibilities
- Capability and an ability to maintain records and stock control
- Ability to liaise with Maintenance Contractors and Suppliers
- Thrive in a team and also appreciate the one to one interactions

**Essentials for working in Aged Care**:

- A current Working With Children card
- Current and ongoing flu and COVID-19 Vaccinations
- Australian working rights
- Ability to pass a national police clearance and/or NDIS Clearance
