**About the opportunity**:
HACC-PYP is for people aged under 65 and Aboriginal people aged under 50 who need assistance with daily activities, including personal care, dressing, preparing meals, house cleaning, property maintenance, community access and using public transport.

As a Volunteer Coordinator, you will focus on actively coordinating, recruiting, training, supporting and retaining volunteers to help consumers engage in everyday activities, boost confidence, enhance social connections and emotional well-being, and stay active and healthy. In this role, you will assist in the coordination and planning of the operations and delivery of the program and lead the implementation of various processes.

**About you**:
You are looking to join an organisation that truly supports vulnerable Victorians and Tasmanians to improve their lives.
- A Current drivers licence valid in Victoria
- A relevant tertiary qualification in community services, disability or related disciplines and experience working with vulnerable people.
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate capacity building and social inclusion activities for people with all abilities.
- Demonstrated ability to participate in a multi-skilling learning environment and a self-managing team.
- Experience in Volunteer Coordination and support roles (essential).
- Demonstrated ability to develop creative solutions to issues that arise within the community or workplace using community development principles.
- Demonstrated ability to relate positively to a large range of people from diverse backgrounds, particularly people with disabilities.
- Ability to use computers efficiently including Word and Outlook
