Your role at St John of God Health Care

The Foundation Funding Coordinator will play an integral role in the Foundation’s ambitious strategy to substantially increase revenue through implementing a best-practice approach to securing significant philanthropic gifts. This will be achieved by coordinating the Foundation’s fundraising priority identification process, which involves supporting the development of the new framework and implementing it by working closely with other caregivers and key internal stakeholders across the Foundation and our WA Hospitals and Services.

The Position
- (VAED, HMDS, PHISCO), Hospital Casemix Protocol and Private Hospital’s Data Bureau.
- Provide support as the key contact for hospital procurement teams for Foundation funded equipment awarded through the new fundraising priority development process.
- Contribute to regular and ad hoc reports on fundraising activities, correspondence, and other documentation, as directed by the Associate Director of Philanthropy.
- Collaborate closely with other caregivers to ensure a consistent and well-coordinated fundraising priority program for the Philanthropy team.
- Builds productive relationships with key hospitals and services in WA and relevant caregivers, representing the Foundation, and understand their specific needs and objectives.
- Maintain excellent organisation and communication skills, ensuring key internal relationships with other caregivers are prioritised and maintained at the highest standard.
- Maintains high quality records in the Foundation’s CRM.

You will have 2-3 years’ experience in a project management, business development or grant coordination role or similar, along with experience in project and/or program coordination, including budget management, workload planning, stakeholder engagement, and activity evaluation. You will have excellent organisational skills with demonstrated ability to set priorities and to coordinate multiple activities and projects simultaneously and meet deadlines. You will high standards of personal and professional integrity.

This role requires flexibility to work outside of usual business hours as required on events important to the Foundation, as well as intrastate and interstate travel to support the local and national philanthropy function.

To succeed you will possess a Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline e.g. project management, marketing, communications, commerce etc and/or an equivalent

- Salary $96,036 to $106,666 plus 11% Superannuation
- Permanent fulltime position
