**Your New Role**

As a Maintenance Officer within our Retirement Living complex, will see you manage the upkeep and repair of independent living units and grounds around the village, working in accordance with health and safety guidelines

**What does your new role look like?**
- Providing a range of general maintenance and building maintenance duties
- Developing and implementing a preventative, proactive and reactive maintenance program
- Delivering a high level of service to residents, visitors, contractors, and staff
- Maintenance of the shared spaces, ensuring a high standard of presentation
- Working within health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe environment for residents and staff, reporting hazards where appropriate

Does this sound like you?
- Must have previous maintenance or handy person experience.
- Trade background/qualifications preferred but not essential.
- Knowledge of OHS requirements with a strong resident and safety focus
- Previous experience in a Retirement Community, Aged Care, or hotel environment advantageous
- A service, solution, and preventative approach with strong customer service skills
- Computer skills, knowledge of Microsoft suite and asset management/ordering systems
- Availability to work full time 7.54am - 4pm, Monday to Friday
- A driver’s license and access to a reliable car
- Fully vaccinated for COVID 19 and 2023 Influenza
