What this opportunity involves
The Handy will (assist the team to) manage the day-to-day client activities for the assigned property/facility and be the on-site key point of contact for key stakeholders and/or client. Support the service delivery functions of Government Client tenants and Facilities Managers.
Coordination of facilities management as delegated by the Facilities Manager.
Ensure that difficulties on site are resolved promptly with minimum disruption to business as usual activities and to the agreed program.
Key point of contact for Facilities within the client’s portfolio.
Implement building procedures and performance measures and ensure they are maintained at all times.
24/7 emergency call support and site attendance is required.
You will possess administration and communication skills while having a strong customer service focus.
Proactive with a keen eye for detail and the ability to balance multiple priorities.
Knowledge or exposure to building/facilities management would be advantageous although not essential.
Ability to work with mínimal supervision and grasp new concepts.
Possess some exposure to building services maintenance & facilities management.
Ability to deal with a variety of issues concurrently, within tight operational deadlines.
Must be an Australian Citizen.
