Medical Receptionist

SIA Medical Centre is a family-owned general practice that has branched out over the last couple of years into 8 beautiful centres

We have an exciting opportunity for a professional and flexible Medical Receptionist to join our busy multi speciality practice located Footscray.

Working hours primarily will be evening shifts and when required vacation leave relief.

The successful applicant's primary duties will be front reception therefore caring approach towards patient is required.

**Requirements**:

- Medical receptionist experience (would be an advantage but not essential);
- Ability to work in a team and autonomously;
- Strong communication skills;
- Billing & process patient accounts;
- General administrative duties as required;
- Working knowledge of Medicare, DVA, Work Cover, HICAPS and Private Health Insurance billings;
- Experience of Pracsoft and Medical Director is preferable but not essential;
- Proficiency in Outlook, Microsoft Word, MS Teams and Excel;
- Knowledge of medical terminology, and medical Billing is desired.
- Ability to handle a high pressure environment and understanding of privacy and confidentiality in a health care setting is a required.

**Salary**: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
