Your role at St John of God Casa Venegas
The Manager oversees a diverse team of caregivers to work within the Casa Venegas Model of Care, delivering a recovery based and trauma informed mental health service model for each individual client. The service focus is to provide support to clients in order to achieve transition to greater independence and long-term housing that meets their individual needs.
The Manager is accountable for ensuring appropriate development, operational management and strategic planning of the service and is responsible for overseeing the tenancy and support needs of each client in collaboration with the Clinical Coordinator and Support Workers.
The Position- As a member of the national leadership team, works collaboratively to identify, develop and deliver strategy, national and state service protocols and new service opportunities- Leads the development and implementation of any new Casa Venegas accommodation or service options.- Leads, manages and develops all aspects of the Casa Venegas Services team, including recruitment, case allocation, reflective practice and performance matters- Ensures service is delivered in line with the Casa Venegas Model of Care and Working Guidelines- Leads the team to promote and deliver a supportive and empowering service environment that promotes the clients’ personal growth, independence, dignity, and engagement while ensuring a safe and respectful home-like setting.- Participate, support and promote self and caregiver participation in divisional and group Social Outreach and Community programs and initiatives.
Successful applicants must hold a valid NSW drivers licence, Working with Children Check and National Police Clearance.

We can offer you- Salary: $119,910 to $133,183 plus 11.5% Superannuation- Permanent full-time, working 38 hours per week- Salary packaging up to $18,550 on a range of benefits such as mortgage, rent, meal entertainment, holiday accommodation or other everyday living expenses as well as options to salary package benefits above the FBT cap on items such as:
