Part time, ongoing. 32 hrs per week.

**This vital role, working within the Breast Services team,** performs data entry and administration tasks to** **ensure that clients attending Monash BreastScreen receive their results for both screening and assessment in a timely manner. Data clerical staff maintain a high level of quality in their data entry and daily quality activities, which are required for adhering to the BreastScreen national standards and is essential for reporting/research purposes.

Monash BreastScreen is the largest Reading and Assessment Service (RAS) in Victoria. It provides screening, reading and assessment services for approximately 65,000 women per year in the South Eastern Suburbs of Melbourne and the Mornington Peninsula. The RAS is located at Moorabbin Hospital.

As part of Monash Breast Services, Monash BreastScreen is a key component of an integrated continuum of multidisciplinary care for women from screening and diagnosis through the assessment of symptoms, diagnosis and management of breast cancer and benign breast disease.

**About The Role**

Duties include creation, retrieval and filing of client files, retrieving and sending images, data entry and quality activities of data entered, data reception tasks, hanging of images for reading, and assessment preparation.

This role is part-time ongoing, based at the Moorabbin Hospital site.

**What you need**
- Experience in data entry and general clerical work is essential
- Record handling and experience in a health setting, particularly in a Medical Records Department, is an advantage
- Familiarity with medical terminology
- Demonstrated accuracy in alpha numeric keyboard skills, strong communication skills and a pleasant manner are essential
- High level organisational and time management skills

- Ability to assess and prioritise workload
