**This Opportunity**:
**Our residential facility, based at Port Elliot**is currently seeking Personal Care Assistants to join their team of committed and passionate professionals. We are looking for people that are keen to take up a casual position to begin with but with a view to moving to permanent part time in the future, and we have a variety of shifts available.

**A little more about the role**:

- You will take responsibility for providing warm and responsive care services to our valued residents
- You will assist residents with a variety of tasks, including participation in activities, and the enjoyment of their meals
- You will deliver reliable and respectful personal care to all of our residents as requested in a very person centred manner
- You will develop professional and meaningful relationships with all stakeholders, our residents, their families and members of your team

**About you**:

- You may have a background and experience in caring for others - you may have worked in an aged care environment before and have proven experience in providing care to older people, a Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged Care) is also desirable
- You have experience working in a fast paced team, where everyone shares the same goals
- You have an empathetic nature and a strong understanding of what is required to support the needs of older people - you put your residents first each and every time
