We are seeking a **Technical Supervisor **to play a unique role in managing the service delivery and performance of the Trades team based in **Singleton NSW**. You’ll work Monday-Thursday 7am-3:45pm and Fridays 7am-12pm.
- **You must be an Australian citizen and able to obtain a Defence Security Clearance.**

**What you will be doing**:

- Provide leadership and supervision of tradespeople to achieve maintenance outcomes for performance, quality, compliance, and safety.
- Account for labour, repair parts and Maintenance Consumables, and other Commonwealth items and equipment.
- Liaise with Schedulers, conduct Maintenance analysis and provide Maintenance advice.
- Build and develop teams, provide technical support, and identify training gaps.
- Inspect technical Maintenance and identify where additional quality or independent inspections and checks are required, and coordinate investigate material defects and report on unsatisfactory material.
- Operate as part of an integrated team, within the Region and with the Commonwealth
- Lead and provide development and training support to technical employees. This includes identifying training gaps and reporting to the Site Manager.

**About You**:

- Demonstrated ability and practical experience in leadership of a maintenance team, management of maintenance activities, technical investigation, quality audits and technical inspections.
- Trade certificate or Certificate IV in a light/heavy vehicle mechanics.
- MILIS/SAP experience is advantageous.
- Excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills and a demonstrated ability to coach & lead work teams.
- Possess a current Australian open driver license for C class of vehicles (manual).
- Current Australian open driver licence for medium rigid and heavy rigid (MR/HR) classes of vehicles where required.
