**The Team**

The Corporate Governance and Risk team oversees Council’s Corporate Governance, Compliance, and Risk functions including all frameworks to ensure organisational transparency, accountability and compliance with statutory obligations. The team is responsible in ensuring Council is compliant with the Code of Conduct, Enterprise Risk Management Policy, Public Interest Disclosure Reporting Policy, Fraud and Corruption Control Policy, and Statement of Business Ethics including information and privacy legislation.

**The Role**
- Casual opportunity - 2 to 3 days per week
- Hourly rate from $48.66 - $56.38 inclusive of casual loading plus 11% superannuation

**Who You Are**

**Essential**
- Qualifications in the legal field (penultimate year of study applicants will be considered) or equivalent experience in a related field.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills coupled with the ability to work well under pressure with multiple issues and competing deadlines.
- Ability to undertake research and prepare correspondence, reports and other written documentation
- Demonstrated experience in written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
