Die Setter

Our client,
- **Cleanaway**, is Australia’s leading total waste management, industrial and environmental services company. Just Automotive Recruitment is assisting in the search for experienced Die Setter (Plastics) Technicians that will join the team in
- **NSW**. Your main responsibility is to ensure injection moulding machines are set up and running according to schedule, and products are produced as specifications.**The Job**:

- Ensure proper set up of the machinery, handling equipment and other plastics manufacturing tools per training instructions or operating procedures and company regulations.
- Contribute to the troubleshooting and repairs of the manufacturing machines and tools per company standards.
- Deliver accurate training to machine tool operators on how to use the machines, according to the safety protocols of the company.
- Identify, investigate, rectify, and report defects and non-conforming products.
- Route/service efficiency, timely reporting of issues and sharing best practices on Machine Operations for Plastics
- Deliver the highest standard in professional conduct, personal presentation and company image
- Contribute to maintaining a respectful workplace for all employees
- Complete all records and paperwork correctly, as directed and required by CWY, law & regulators
- Ensure safe work practices and adherence to policies and procedures including Absolutes and Lifesaving Rules as well as reporting of unsafe practices and potential and actual incidents
- Undertake any other duties, accountabilities and responsibilities as directed
- **2 Full-time positions are available**:

- **$65,000-$90,000 PA**:

- **Location: NSW**

**The Person**:
- Previous experience as a Die Setter
- 3 (Cert III or IV) in Polymers Technology or recognised equivalent skill
- High-level skill in plastic injection moulding on automotive-grade products
- Additional extrusion blow moulding is desirable
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Experience in Preventative & reactive maintenance of machines and production lines is desirable
- Quality Management System knowledge
