**The Position**
- Position Title: Consultant Urologist - Fractional Specialist
- Classification: HN16 - HN56 (Year 1-9) Medical Specialist
- Salary per hour (exc. super): $148.40 to $193.10
- Hours per fortnight: 17.5 with additional hours to be negotiated, plus Fee for Service for On-call duties.
- Employment Status: Permanenet Part Time (Fractional)
- Other requirements: COVID-19 Vaccination
**Role Description**
- The Urology Consultant will provide specialist urological surgical care and other relevant clinical services for patients of Bendigo Health in support of the senior urological staff. The position has an ability to be tailored to particular subspecialties, including female functional urology, reconstructive male urology and/or laparoscopic/open uro-oncology with exposure to both public and private work.
- The Consultant will participate in the On Call Roster

**The Team**
- The Urology team at Bendigo Health aims to provide comprehensive urology care to the population of Bendigo, as well as being the major regional referral centre for the Loddon Mallee region. As part of this, the team provides dedicated outreach services to Echuca, Rochester, Kyneton and Swan Hill. The team aims to provide best evidence-based practice in all aspects of urology and to support a number of services including multidisciplinary cancer care, urodynamics, pelvic physiotherapy and regional continence services. The team is also a regional training centre for specialist nurses, nurse cystoscopists, and junior medical staff.

**Selection Criteria**
- Essential : MBBS or equivalent degree enabling registration with AHPRA
- Essential : Fellowship membership with USANZ
- Essential : Experience working as a Consultant
- Essential : Demonstrated appropriate level experience and skills in the medical assessment and clinical management of patients
- Essential : Thorough understanding of the relevant legislation pertaining of Medical Officers
- Essential : High level interpersonal and communication skills
