**Overview**

You will provide gardening, lawn mowing and general maintenance services for the Waikerie Health Services. Your main duties may include rubbish collection, minor carpentry, painting, plumbing, mechanical and grounds maintenance.

Responding to requests to make repairs to equipment and vehicles, you will undertake general facility maintenance, including painting and minor repairs to buildings. You will also maintain the grounds of the health service through minor pruning and other gardening functions, installing water systems, and basic tractor operations including mowing and raking. Ideally bringing some experience in building and grounds maintenance, you will have the ability to use a wide range of hand and power tools. Along with basic knowledge of safe working conditions, you will be able to perform under general direction and provide assistance and cooperation to other staff. You will work well in a team environment, demonstrating good interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to relate to people from different cultures, backgrounds and circumstances. With a flexible approach to work and rostering systems, you will be able to work within set timeframes.

Must have trade qualifications or trade equivalent skills in a relevant trade.
