**About Client**

**ABOUT CLIENT**

We are seeking experienced forklift drivers with both **High Reach & Counterbalance** forklift experience being advantageous to support their operations in Altona North. Working as part of a team, you will be the person that ensures Truck deliveries are unloaded and stored in large warehouse quickly and efficiently, outgoing trucks are loaded with orders correctly, and ambient stock is rotated and replenished in preparation for the oncoming shift.

**The responsibilities will include**:

- Receiving, handling and dispatching goods in the warehouse.
- Operating a forklift with reach experience
- Experience in picking orders, scanning, and scanning our (RF scanner)
- Unloading and Loading vehicles.
- Checking goods for damage and for discrepancies between goods and invoices
- Using computers to obtain details of location and quantity of items in stock.
- Operating machines to lift, place and remove goods on high levels.
- Preparation work in assist the next on coming shift.

**To be successful in this position, you will be able to demonstrate your**:

- Be physically able to lift and move items up to 25kg.
- Ability to communicate and work as part of a team, navigating a busy warehouse.
- Commitment to working safely and always practicing correct manual handling.
- Open to working in cold environments (PPE provided).
- Excellent attention to details
- Proactive approach, ability to identify needs of the warehouse.
- Be able to drive a forklift with reach experience.
