**The Role**
A rewarding New Year opportunity for a faith-based educational leader to join PLC as our new Head of Christian Studies from the start of Term 1 2025.
This full-time, ongoing position will resonate with an experienced Christian Studies teacher who has demonstrated leadership in this space, or an aspiring leader.
The Head of Christian Studies will oversee the curriculum, administration, guidance and professional development of staff within the Years 7-12 Christian Studies Department. The incumbent will support, shape and strengthen the Christian faith community of our College through personal example and purposeful leadership.
This is a full-time teaching appointment with a time release of 8 periods per cycle to undertake the administrative duties associated with the position.
**About You**
You are an experienced, passionate and forward-thinking Christian Studies educator and advocate, who is able to speak knowledgeably to students, parents and staff about the program’s teaching approach and learning outcomes.
As a leader, you are a positive, trusted and respected role model for staff within the Department, as well as being focused on building a culture of collaboration and professionalism with colleagues.
You relate well to students at Years 7-12 and are a positive role model for young women, supporting them to connect to and grow their faith both inside and outside the classroom.
