We are currently seeking a Part Time 21.6 hours per week, fixed term (12 months) Mental Health and Wellbeing Partnerships Officer to join our Community Strengthening and Social Planning Team based at our offices in Sunshine.

The role
Reporting to the Health and Wellbeing Policy officer, we are seeking a Mental Health and Wellbeing Partnerships officer who can bring skills and experience to:

- support service providers to navigate service provision and resolve service barriers
- identify opportunities to establish partnerships and referral pathways
- provide advice with regard to service gaps in mental health
- identify and document resources to support improved mental health and wellbeing in Brimbank.

About youTo succeed in this role, you will have:

- A tertiary qualification in community development, health promotion or a relevant discipline and/or significant experience in community development and health promotion
- Proven experience in facilitating health promotion partnerships and networks with a range of service providers that collectively address issues and generates demonstrable outcomes
- Highly developed demonstrated interpersonal skills
- Highly developed strategic and analytical skills to identify access barriers and system blockages
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and autonomously to meet outcomes within identified timelines.
- Current and satisfactory Police Records Check.-
