Reporting to the Supervisor - Electrical & Services, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the safe and efficient functioning of mechanical equipment and water-related systems.

You will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and operation of mechanical systems and water infrastructure within our construction site while also championing our Culture and our "We Care" approach, which underscores our commitment to a positive workplace environment and our dedication to the wellbeing of our employees and the community.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of mechanical equipment, including HVAC systems, pumps, compressors, and other machinery.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues to determine appropriate repairs or replacements.
- Perform preventative maintenance to minimise downtime.
- Monitor, inspect, and maintain water distribution and treatment systems.
- Respond to water quality and supply concerns and resolve issues promptly.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards for water quality and safety.
- Execute repairs on equipment, such as pumps, motors, and conveyors.
- Keep detailed records of repairs, maintenance activities, and equipment specifications.
- About You- Technical degree or certification in mechanical systems, water operations, plumbing, or a related field is a plus.
- Proven experience in maintaining and repairing mechanical systems and water infrastructure.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations related to mechanical and water systems.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills for reporting and collaborating with colleagues.
- This role may require the ability to lift heavy equipment, work in confined spaces, and perform physical tasks related to maintenance and repair activities.
